I have a funny story to tell you. It’s been a secret but I guess it won’t be after I tell you about it.
If you’ve ever met me or really looked at some of my photos, you know I’m not the most svelte kitty out there. I’ve never had the slim waist like my brofurs Echo and Ocean. This is evident even in this photo from the BlogPaws conference in Phoenix in 2016 when I weighed about 11 fluffy pounds.
I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a napping kind of kitty. If I were a human, I guess you’d call me a couch potato.
Whether you are a seasoned veteran traveler or getting ready to head out on your first trip, I bet you’ll find lots of useful information on traveling with cats in these posts from some of my best pals. Oh, and there’s even a post written by mom for her Savvy Pet Care blog. It stars me, of course!
Planning – Before You Go
Every successful trip starts with a great plan. This is especially important when traveling with cats. Rules are different for us than for humans. Here are things to take care of before you go.
OMC! I bet you can’t believe I’m posting but I just had to tell you some things.
Between spring being on the verge of happening and the BlogPaws Conference coming up next week, mom has gotten a bee in her bonnet. She says that even though we aren’t going to BlogPaws this year, it is inspiring her. She has gotten out all my harnesses and made me start wearing them. I got really used to wearing one when I got to go to BlogPaws in 2016. I haven’t worn one in a while so they feel a little strange. I was slinking a little at first but lots of treats helped me get over that pretty quickly!
I wonder when I’ll get to go out in the yard on a leash. That dog that hates cats still lives next door and mom is a little concerned about … Continue reading →
Mom has known for a while that I had gingivitis or probably even stomatitis. Stomatitis in cats is an inflammation of the gums and mucous membranes. It can be very painful. Mom tells me no one seems to know what causes feline stomatitis but that it may be an allergic reaction to the plaque on our teeth. All vets and researchers know is that it is an abnormal immune system response. They suspect that … Continue reading →
I’m so happy to be able to share my bounty from BlogPaws with my readers. I told you that there might be enough for two giveaway winners and there was more than enough for that. I kept some of the treats and food mom wants me to try and of course some toys, but there’s lots of goodies that will be on their way today to Annamarie V. and Cathy K. Yes, that’s right, my pal Cathy Keisha was the second place winner.
I’m not actually celebrating 100, but my friends the Kitties Blue of The Cat on My Head are. Today is their 100th Sunday Selfies blog hop. I’m very, very late but I couldn’t miss celebrating this milestone with them. I even planned ahead and took these photos a while back, but what can I do? I have no thumbs and sometimes the mom is just busy doing human things.
Today is a big day around our house. Not only is it our country’s birthday, it is the day I celebrate my birthday and Echo and Ocean celebrate their gotcha day. You can read here why we celebrate on the Fourth.
We already get great food with our homemade raw, but we usually get something special to eat and even extra treats. Mom gives us lots of extra hugs — sometimes I think she could keep some of those! We are very grateful to be such lucky kitties and we want to share with our furiends so please take a minute to enter my giveaway. Just use the Rafflecopter below.

In case you haven’t been following along, I’ve been telling you about my road trip this past week. You can read Part 1 here and Part 2 here. I especially liked yesterday’s Part 3 post about my Missed Adventure.
