Today marks two years that I have been a blogging kitty. That’s about 1/8 of an average kitty’s lifespan! Seems pretty hard to believe and time has just flown by. Mom and I talked about making a big deal and having a big party but we decided instead to just thank you all for being here and being our friends.
I’m so happy to be able to share my bounty from BlogPaws with my readers. I told you that there might be enough for two giveaway winners and there was more than enough for that. I kept some of the treats and food mom wants me to try and of course some toys, but there’s lots of goodies that will be on their way today to Annamarie V. and Cathy K. Yes, that’s right, my pal Cathy Keisha was the second place winner.
Good morning my dear friends and furiends! I haven’t been around much lately and I feel like a terrible furiend, but my typist has been very busy. She even told me she has had to rethink things about my blog. You see, when we started this blog, mom was recovering from a serious illness and needed something to lighten things up. After we moved here and she started feeling better, she knew it was time to start thinking about making some money to supplement her retirement income. She learned about monetizing a blog and we tried to do that with mine but it just isn’t growing very much and I don’t have enough readers to make it happen. I have a lot of followers on social media but most of them just don’t visit my blog.
Mom was so sad when she went to The Feed Barn this week to take photos of the available kitties from A-Pal Humane Society. There was a gorgeous orange and white girl who was found wandering the streets in Jackson. She was starving but otherwise in good condition when she was picked up. Mom was sad because she was so friendly yet no one was looking for her. We can only wonder how she became homeless.
Mom really wanted to brush that beautiful orange fur.
Last year I didn’t hear about #BlogBlast4Peace until the very day. This year, I am prepared. According to the #Blog4Peace Facebook page, BlogBlast For Peace™ was founded by Mimi Lenox in October 2006 as Dona Nobis Pacem in the blogosphere. It was the first internet presence to ask bloggers to post on the same subject on the same day. November 4 is the annual day designated as BlogBlast4Peace™ aka Blog4Peace™
You can read more about the event on their website.
Wishing for peace today and everyday.
