Mom says spring is coming soon and I sure will be glad to see it. You probably know about the big freeze we had here in Texas and I’ll be glad to see more sunshine and heat. If you receive my newsletter (if not, please subscribe), you know all about what happened with us. Thank catness we didn’t have it nearly as bad as folks farther north.
Hey everybody! Two months in a row. Can you believe it? This is just going to be a fairly short update as mom has lots of errands to do today. She has to go to McAllen to pick up Ocean and said as long as she has to go there she might as well make the most of it. She talks about McAllen like it is on another planet but it is only 30 miles away.
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that mom took Ocean to the vet on Tuesday. She took him to Pet Doctor 911. I was a little concerned for him because that’s where she took Echo and he never came home. She assured … Continue reading →
Hi friends and furiends. We’ve been away so long, mom says she has practically forgotten how to blog! This post is to catch you up on what I did on my summer vacation. Or maybe more accurately, what I didn’t do on my summer vacation! The only problem is that is was a very long vacation extending beyond summer. Mom’s promise and mine is that we’ll try to do better in 2021. We want to focus on the positive, happy stuff and not stress over current events. That’s why mom and I started this blog in the first place when she was recovering from being ill and needed something lighthearted to write about.
Hi friends. I know it has been a long time since I posted and now I’m coming to you with some sad news. My fur sibling, Echo, went to the vet hospital on Thursday and won’t be coming home. Although we weren’t best friends like he and Ocean were, he was almost always sweet to me. I’m going to let mom take over now to tell you more about him and what happened. Please join us in celebrating and remembering Echo.
Can you believe it has been just over a year since I last posted here on my blog? A lot has happened during those 12 months and I hope you have seen some of my updates on social media about our move from California to Texas. In case you are new here, don’t follow me on social media or missed my posts there, here’s a recap.
Travel Prep for our Move from California to Texas
Last year, I left off telling you about how we were getting ready to take off on an adventure in a travel trailer. Mom was taking her time letting us get used to it and Echo hadn’t even been out in it yet. Well, mom’s apprehension about how scared … Continue reading →
Hi furiends. It’s been a while since I’ve posted an update and I finally convinced mom to take a few minutes. If you are on my mailing list and read my last newsletter, you know what has been keeping mom so busy. We are moving again and our house is a disaster! Mom seems to be going off in so many directions and nothing is getting completed. Stuff is everywhere! Is that the way humans normally work? Fortunately, she hasn’t messed with my favorite place to hang out — my stroller.
Not only are we moving but I think mom is going through a crisis. She says she is just fulfilling a lifelong … Continue reading →
I have a funny story to tell you. It’s been a secret but I guess it won’t be after I tell you about it.
If you’ve ever met me or really looked at some of my photos, you know I’m not the most svelte kitty out there. I’ve never had the slim waist like my brofurs Echo and Ocean. This is evident even in this photo from the BlogPaws conference in Phoenix in 2016 when I weighed about 11 fluffy pounds.
I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a napping kind of kitty. If I were a human, I guess you’d call me a couch potato.
Whether you are a seasoned veteran traveler or getting ready to head out on your first trip, I bet you’ll find lots of useful information on traveling with cats in these posts from some of my best pals. Oh, and there’s even a post written by mom for her Savvy Pet Care blog. It stars me, of course!
Planning – Before You Go
Every successful trip starts with a great plan. This is especially important when traveling with cats. Rules are different for us than for humans. Here are things to take care of before you go.
