We’ve had a little trouble getting a system in place to post A-Pal Humane Society‘s adoptables each week but I think mom has finally worked it out. The Feed Barn in Jackson has a pet room where the adoptable kitties stay so people can come see and interact with them. Mom will go to the Feed Barn every Sunday afternoon or Monday to photograph the kitties that didn’t get adopted over the weekend. I will feature the ones who have been waiting to find a forever home the longest.
Available for Adoption
Benny is a formal feral colony cat. A severe infection caused him to lose one of his eyes but that doesn’t stop him from doing anything a young, 6-month old kitty would do. He is sweet and playful. This non-aggressive kitty will make a great companion if you have other cats.
Checkers is also a formal feral colony cat. She is a strong, fast, playful hunter who gets along well with other cats and her foster’s dogs. She loves to be petted but she is just learning to be held. Her new family will need a little patience to gain her complete trust.
Holly had a rough start in life. When she was still quite small, she and her sisters were very sick with a virus. By the time A-Pal took them in, she had some scarring in her nose which makes her breathing sometimes sound like she is stuffed up. Her foster mom kept her long enough to be sure she has no problems with her upper respiratory condition. She is now a completely healthy kitty who has been released by her veterinarian to be adopted. Holly loves to play and gets along with dogs. She gets along with other cats but she is dominant. She likes to cuddle and nap in laps.
All kitties from A-Pal have been flea treated, are spayed or neutered and are current on vaccinations.
Remember, sharing is caring. Please share to help these kitties find their forever homes.
