This Sunday Selfies sneak peek (on Monday this week) gives you a glimpse of what is to come tomorrow.
Can you guess where I am?
I was so excited I couldn’t hold still and concentrate on my selfies. Mom had to put me in her lap and help me!
Be sure to stop by tomorrow and see what I was doing when I took my selfies.
I hope you had a super weekend.

Mom has been really busy and not feeling up to par so I decided to let her off easy for today’s Caturday Art. She created some things a while back when she was experimenting with an app. These experiments never were published so I suggested she use them.
Hope you had a restful Caturday and enjoyed all the art in the hop. We’re late but we’re here!

Echo, Ocean and I are a little bummed today. For the past week or so we have had the most pawsome weather. It was glorious! If you follow me, you may have heard me mention just a time or two about how much it has been raining — over six weeks with only a day or two off here and there and they were still gray and gloomy. For those few days, though, the sun was shining and we had sun puddles in two of our windows.
The best part was that the windows and doors were open almost all day for a few days! Mom said the temperature was in the 70s.
Mom did a Valentine’s Day card yesterday for Caturday Art but I wanted to share it with you again today since today is actually Valentine’s Day.
I really like our cards from last year, too, so I am sharing those again in case you missed them.
Since today is Selfie Sunday AND Valentine’s Day, we all took some special Valentine selfies for you. We hope you like them.
Hope you are spending the day with friends and furiends you love!
P.S. Did you see my Continue reading
For this week’s Caturday Art, mom had an idea for a Valentine’s Day card and wanted to learn how to use the custom shape tool in Photoshop to do it. Photoshop Elements, which is on her sick computer and no longer works, has a cut out tool that makes what she wanted to do pretty easy. It seems, though, that Adobe thinks if you use regular Photoshop, doing the same job needs to be more complicated.
So, she hopped on Mr. Google to find a tutorial. Of course, like most things, once you know how to do it, it is quite easy.
While she was tinkering with her idea for the Valentine’s Day card, she wanted to see what she could do with the shape and came up with this.
Mom forgot to have me do selfies yesterday and wants me to do them this morning! So sorry mom. This is the best you are going to get!
I have to go watch the Kitten Bowl! Are you going to watch? What team are you supporting? Here’s my trading card. I’ll be rooting for Boomer’s Bobcats. I had to, right? Their team color is purple.
Go team! Remember what this is all about, though. It is to educate folks about adopting while entertaining them. All of the kitties … Continue reading
Mom tried and tried to do something different in Photoshop for today’s Caturday Art but just couldn’t come up with anything she liked. She said the creative juices just weren’t flowing. Finally, she decided to just use a beautiful photo of me and see what she could do with it with art filters.
Here’s the original photo.
She used the Stylize/Extrude filter with its default settings for this effect . She made a few adjustments to the settings of the Render/Picture frame filter to change the size of the frame before adding.
Ocean was so sweet to mom the other night, she told him he could do this week’s Sunday selfie. Of the three of us, he spends the least time with her. Most of the time, when he does try to cuddle with her, he wants to make biscuits all the time and give her little love biteys when she pets him. For some reason, she doesn’t appreciate this and makes him get down. The other night, though, he carefully climbed up in the chair, pawed her shoulder and laid his head down. No kneading and no biting! This made mom smile so it made me happy to have Ocean do the selfies. Notice I’m even letting him touch me!
