I never did tell you why I went to the vet during my big road trip to the BlogPaws conference in Arizona. Mom was waiting for some information from my vet on stomatitis in cats but he hasn’t had time to put it together. Since today is Bring Your Cat to the Vet Day, mom thought it would be a good time to go ahead and tell you about it anyway.
Stomatitis in Cats
Mom has known for a while that I had gingivitis or probably even stomatitis. Stomatitis in cats is an inflammation of the gums and mucous membranes. It can be very painful. Mom tells me no one seems to know what causes feline stomatitis but that it may be an allergic reaction to the plaque on our teeth. All vets and researchers know is that it is an abnormal immune system response. They suspect that … Continue reading
I’m so happy to be able to share my bounty from BlogPaws with my readers. I told you that there might be enough for two giveaway winners and there was more than enough for that. I kept some of the treats and food mom wants me to try and of course some toys, but there’s lots of goodies that will be on their way today to Annamarie V. and Cathy K. Yes, that’s right, my pal Cathy Keisha was the second place winner.
Is mom ever going to get all this stuff put away? #blogpaws #blogpawsswag #swag #catsofig #instacats #catsofinstagram #blueeyedcat #catswithblogs #ChristyPaws
I’m not actually celebrating 100, but my friends the Kitties Blue of The Cat on My Head are. Today is their 100th Sunday Selfies blog hop. I’m very, very late but I couldn’t miss celebrating this milestone with them. I even planned ahead and took these photos a while back, but what can I do? I have no thumbs and sometimes the mom is just busy doing human things.
I like this one so I think it will do.
These selfies were taken in our hotel room at La Quinta Inns and Suites on our way back from BlogPaws. I’ll tell you a little more about our stay later this … Continue reading
Today is a big day around our house. Not only is it our country’s birthday, it is the day I celebrate my birthday and Echo and Ocean celebrate their gotcha day. You can read here why we celebrate on the Fourth.
We already get great food with our homemade raw, but we usually get something special to eat and even extra treats. Mom gives us lots of extra hugs — sometimes I think she could keep some of those! We are very grateful to be such lucky kitties and we want to share with our furiends so please take a minute to enter my giveaway. Just use the Rafflecopter below.

In case you haven’t been following along, I’ve been telling you about my road trip this past week. You can read Part 1 here and Part 2 here. I especially liked yesterday’s Part 3 post about my Missed Adventure.
Since I spent a lot of time in our wonderful hotel room at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass during BlogPaws, I wanted to tell you about it.
We saw some amazing sunrises.
Our room was so bright and sunny. It had the most pawsome sun puddles in the morning!
Before I tell you about my missed adventure, I want to remind you about my big birthday/gotcha day celebration and giveaway on Monday. Be sure to visit and enter for a chance to win some great prizes!
My Missed Adventure
I really enjoy riding around in my stroller with the top open so I can look around. I even liked doing it at BlogPaws as long as there weren’t too many loud noises or a lot of woofies.
On Saturday afternoon, on our way back to the room to rest up before the Nose-to-Nose Awards banquet, I decided it was time to explore the joint on my own.
As we got off the elevator, I jumped out of … Continue reading
When last I left you, in Road Trip – Part 1, it was shortly after 6 am on Wednesday and we were on the road to Chandler, Arizona, and BlogPaws 2016.
I sang mom a tune or two when we first started but then got tired and just hung out. I tried to nap but it just didn’t seem to happen. So many strange noises outside and the motion of the car did NOT lull me to sleep.
Mom only made two quick stops along the way so we arrived at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler before noon. At first, mom thought she was going the wrong way. The hotel is down a narrow, two lane road kind of out in the middle of nowhere, or so it seemed.
Check in was a breeze and we … Continue reading
